About

Des Moines FFA is an urban, agricultural education program located in Iowa's capital. The program encompasses the Des Moines Metro Area and focuses on horticulture, animal science, and leadership.
 
Mission
The Des Moines FFA is dedicated to making a positive difference in the lives of students by developing their potential for premier leadership, personal growth and career success through agricultural education.
General Information
We share an agricultural education program through Central Campus High School.

Students from the following schools are eligible to take an agriculture class: Adel-DeSoto-Minburn, Ankeny, Bondurant-Farrar, Carlisle, Colfax-Mingo, Dallas Center-Grimes, Des Moines Christian, Dowling Catholic, Earlham, The Harbor, Indianola, Interstate 35, Iowa Christian Academy, Johnston, Martensdale-St. Mary, Metro West Learning Academy, Newton, North Polk, Norwalk, Perry, Pleasantville, Saydel, Southeast Polk, Southwest Warren, Urbandale, Van Meter, Valley High School, Valley Southwoods, Walnut Creek Campus, Waukee,West Central Valley, Winterset, and Woodward-Granger.
